An Album a Day: Listen with Us!

Summer Salutations, pod enjoyers! While you anxiously await season 2, we cordially invite you to participate in a fun summer challenge🎉

Welcome to #AnAlbumADay, a challenge I designed to 1. Help me maintain my sanity during the dissertation process, 2. Discover new music and artists that I haven’t come across yet, and 3. Reignite my love of music and how listening can be enjoyable. I have outlined the rules on the first slide above, but those are just the rules I am holding myself to— feel free to modify and adjust as necessary! A PDF of the rules and the blank template can also be found on our website (link in bio). On the following slides, you’ll find the blank journal template and a few that I have filled in based on the albums I’ve listened to this past week. Additionally, I’m keeping a Spotify playlist that contains the #1 songs from each album (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4yw20kGNZzoYtibkwv5OW0?si=rQsPyHAJRJy5IXH7nXdzlw&pi=BaIopBFHSvWCA)

Feel free to slide in the DMs and share your album recs— I need at least 1 per week that is selected by someone else! For all suggested albums, I will share the resulting log to our story for your pleasure✨ This challenge has been the best part of my day for the last week and is such a nice way to break up my listening (I love you, Chappell, but a girl needs variety!) Happy summer and happy listening, besties!

XOXO,

Kasey

I enjoyed the idea of listening to one album each day because music can completely change your mood and mindset. During university, I relied on assignment help while spending evenings studying with headphones on to stay relaxed. Finding new music always made stressful days feel lighter and more enjoyable. Simple habits like this can create really meaningful memories over time.

This sounds like such a fun and creative way to stay motivated, especially during something stressful like a dissertation. I remember during my PhD, I tried small habits like this, and at one point I also used PhD Qualitative data dissertation service in UK to manage my workload better. Listening to new albums daily is a great idea to relax and stay inspired. It reminds me that balance is really important when studying.
